Prevention is the foundation
The best solution to fire is preventing it. That is why, from practically the very beginning of our company, we have focused on developing our own impregnation products, and when designing theatres, cinemas and other cultural facilities, we devote maximum attention to fire protection and prevention.
You can purchase fire-retardant impregnation from us, or order its application right away. We will thoroughly inspect your hall, identify all risk areas and apply a different impregnation product to each flammable material - one specifically developed for that purpose.
Fire-retardant compounds vary in durability and adhesion, which is why it is important not to use a single product - a universal solution simply does not exist.
Our fire-retardant products
Antifire®
Fire-retardant product certified for both wood and textiles. Designed where emphasis is on low cost. Does not leave stains on treated textiles. Environmentally safe, does not cause fibre degradation.
Stopfire®
Excellent product for synthetic textiles (e.g. 100% PES, Modal, etc.). Does not leave stains on impregnated textiles. Environmentally safe, has no effect on textile ageing.
Florian
Best flame-retardant properties on the market. Does not leave stains on impregnated textiles. Environmentally safe, has no effect on textile ageing. Softens treated textiles and gives them a silky sheen.

Antifire®, Stopfire® and Florian - made in-house
Antifire®, Stopfire® and Florian are developed and manufactured directly by Divadelní služby Plzeň s.r.o. - they are our own product. Each one is certified and intended for a different type of material, so that the most suitable impregnation is always used on your textiles and wood.
Our products in detail
Antifire®
Fire-retardant impregnation for both textile and wooden materials. For wood, OSB boards, plywood, veneers and cellulose it is applied undiluted to a clean, dry surface (not varnished or oiled) - certified to ČSN EN 13501-1:2019, fire reaction class B-s1, d0. For textiles it is diluted 1:1.5 (1 part product to 1.5 parts water), coverage 0.1-0.5 l/m², certified for 100% cotton to ČSN EN 13773 and ČSN EN 1101, fire reaction class 1.
Stopfire®
A product for synthetic textiles - 100% PES or polyester-cotton blends (velvets, CS moltons, dimouts, blackouts, voiles). Dilution 1:1.5, coverage 0.05-0.5 l/m², to ČSN EN 13773 and ČSN EN 1101, fire reaction class 1. Note: with synthetic fibres, even once non-flammability is achieved, the material can melt and drip.
Florian
A product for 100% cotton textiles (velvets, moltons) to ČSN EN ISO 6940 and ČSN EN 1101. A scented compound that gives textiles softness and a silky sheen. Particularly suitable for curtains, drapes, decorations and other textile materials in theatres, social and commercial venues, studios and exhibitions.
Shared properties of our products

- Not classified as a hazardous mixture under Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 (CLP)
- Store in the original container at temperatures above 2 °C; shelf life 24 months from the date of manufacture
- Treated textiles can be ironed dry (no steam) up to 150 °C; dry-cleaned up to 6 times for Antifire and Stopfire, 2 times for Florian
- After washing in water, the impregnation must be renewed
- When used correctly, the material does not change colour or stiffness and cannot be ignited
- Certificates from state testing institutes and a safety data sheet are available on request
Application of fire-retardant compounds
We provide professional application of products with the issuance of a report for state supervision. After treatment, we mark the treated textiles with a flame-retardant label in accordance with standard ČSN 73 0831.
When application is carried out by our company, the products are scented. We offer significant discounts on follow-up spray applications.
Standards met and certifications
Textiles
Our products pass standards ČSN EN 13773 class 1, ČSN EN 13772, ČSN EN 1101 and ČSN EN ISO 6940 with excellent results.
Wooden materials
For wooden materials, we comfortably meet standard ČSN EN 13501-1:2019 and ČSN EN ISO 11925-2:2020.
Supplementary additives
You can order special additives for the care and maintenance of your textiles alongside our fire-retardant products. All supplementary additives can be applied at the same time as the fire-retardant impregnation, which saves significant time - yours and ours.
Cleaning additive C-clean
Effective cleaning
A highly effective surfactant that can clean lightly dusty curtains and textiles. The neutral pH of the finished compound guarantees colour fastness of the cleaned textile.
Independent use
The C-clean product can also be used independently without fire-retardant impregnation.
